Karen has a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 1993, and received her certification in Neuromuscular Therapy from the NMT Center in St.Petersburg, FL in 1995. She became certified as Personal Trainer in 2017 though the National Strength Conditioning Association (NSCA). With additional training in Tom Myers, Anatomy Trains, Dr. Kathy Dooley's Immaculate Dissection, as well as Orthopedic Massage and Russian Clinical Massage, Karen has many years of experience in a premiere resort setting as well as in private practice.
In addition to her private practice, Karen is an instructor for the NMT Center and is an Adjunct Faculty Professor at Berkshire Community College where she teaches anatomy, physiology and pathology in the Allied Health Services Department.
In addition to continuing her study of anatomy and movement Karen enjoys hiking, playing her trumpet with the Eagles Community Band of Pittsfield and cuddling with her Basset Hound, Ruby.
Graduating from the Stillpoint School of Massage in 1985, Jack McKeon began his massage career working in a Chiropractic office in Natick and a private massage business on Martha’s Vineyard. In 1989 he moved to the Berkshires and began his employment as a massage therapist at Canyon Ranch, where he continues to work part-time today.
Jack received his certification in Neuromuscular Therapy from the NMT Center in St. Petersburg, FL in 1991. With additional training in Hellerwork, Russian Sports Massage and Orthopedic Massage, he specializes in treating chronic muscular issues related to overuse, injury and structural changes.
Jack enjoys physical activity and has logged many miles over the years on foot as well as on his bicycles. He is an avid Pickleball player and continues to strength train to support his body to do what he loves.
